Hatha Yoga
The purpose of yoga is to create strength, awareness and harmony. By combining breathing exercises (Pranayama), meditation and relaxation, and the practice of postures (Asanas) that stretch and flex various muscle groups, one can achieve the union of the mind, body and spirit.
The word Hatha can be divided into two words “ha” meaning the sun and “tha” meaning the moon which makes reference to the balance of energy within each person.
